Roxie Marie has been sewing for over 30 years. She started with simple home decor items - pillows, curtains, table linens. From there, she moved onto simple wardrobe items using commercial patterns. She is primarily self taught through years of experience and experimentation, and a healthy amount of Youtube tutorials. About 15 years ago, she made her first set of Renaissance costumes for a local Renaissance Festival. It was then that she found her passion. Since that time, she has developed her skills in pattern designing, corsetry, foundational garments, jewelry making, leather working, and haberdashery. All these skills coalesce into the amazing works of historical art that she creates.
